Why does freelancing Matter?

Freelancing Matters online

Freelancing Matters has been circulated (by PCG, the voice of freelancing) since 2003. Encouraged by feedback and a desire to unlock some great content that has been hidden in the printed pages, we are excited to launch this online platform.

With articles and resources looking to inspire, encourage and advise we want to celebrate the choice to go freelance and underline the importance of freelancing in the modern world of business.

PCG, the voice of freelancing

As the driving force behind Freelancing Matters, PCG, the voice of freelancing is the cross-sector association for freelance contractors and consultants in the UK.

PCG works with members ranging from IT Contractors to Chefs, PR consultants to Web Designers, to support the development of the freelance sector and ensure the UK’s 1.4 million freelancers are understood, valued and respected by the business community and UK government as a vital resource for future economic success.
